Winery of the D.O. Rioja, located in Quintana del Pidio, where the owners opted to rehabilitate a historic neighbourhood of wineries of the sixteenth century. The five underground cellars and wineries that make it up make it one of the oldest winemaking locations in Spain.
In Quintana del Pidio, three varieties of Dominio del Pidio are made as limited edition: red, white Albillo and rosé. They come from small plots of vineyards up to 100 years old. All its wines are aged 18 metres underground fermented in cement containers and aged in French oak barrels.
They sell the red with 95% aging and 5% Albillo Tinto Fino, white with 100% aging, Albillo and Rosé, 50% Tinto Fino and 50% Albillo.
