ORIGIN

Our roots are deeply embedded in the soil of Galicia. It fuels our passion for what we are and what we do. We strive to remain rooted in our environment, taking care of those who live there, supporting the local economy and the local producers of each place where we are.

Viñadores do Atlántico was born in 2021 to boost the local economy of the Galician wine-growing areas. With this Hijos de Rivera distribution project, we support the recovery of native Galician grape varieties and responsible cultivation that generates a positive impact on our land.

Created in 2019, the Hijos de Rivera-UDC Chair of Sustainable Development is a strong alliance between our company and the University of Santiago de Compostela to promote innovation in agriculture and the Galician countryside, the origin of the raw materials with which we make our products. Through research, seminars and meetings, we promote the training and dissemination of innovative models that guarantee a balance between environmental regeneration, economic competitiveness and social impact.

Las Estrellas del Camino is a project with which we show our pride for our land through art. Curated by Estrella Galicia, this is the most extensive exhibition in the world: 22 large-format murals are distributed in different stages of the French, English and Portuguese roads. They pay tribute to local characters, who narrate their stories of overcoming challenges linked to Galicia and the Camino de Santiago.

¿QUIERES SABER MÁS?

It is a project to disseminate initiatives that transform the Galician countryside into a more prosperous, sustainable and healthy place. With it, we contribute to generate welfare in our towns and boost the local economy.
