Our ethical values are strong and guide our performance. With this in mind, we encourage active listening, communication and relationships based on transparency and trust with each and every one of our stakeholders.

ETHICS CHANNEL

Our ethics channel is a fundamental mechanism to promote transparency and to act against any type of irregular conduct, for which we maintain a zero tolerance policy. In this channel, of course, we guarantee confidentiality and protect the identity of people who want to report any event or inappropriate attitude, which is a priority to ensure compliance with both the law and our corporate code of values.

RISK MANAGEMENT

Risk management is a fundamental element in improving our day-to-day operations and anticipating tomorrow. We work continuously to strengthen this area: we constantly update the corporate risk map and maintain fluid communication with our stakeholders to integrate their perspective. We are in the process of improving our management model, taking as a reference the COSO ERM and ISO 31000 methodological framework, which promotes an integrated vision in the strategy and aligned with our business principles and purpose.

STRATEGIC LISTENING

Dialogue with our stakeholders and active listening are a fundamental lever to generate a positive impact on our environment and to respond to their expectations with a proactive and innovative attitude. Our Materiality Study, which we update continuously, is key to adapting to new trends and requirements: with it we identify the most relevant issues, prioritize them and integrate them into our strategy.

CORPORATE SUPPLIER POLICY

Approximately 80% of global trade passes through supply chains, making them both an economic driver and a fundamental tool for generating positive impact. At Hijos de Rivera we have a Purchasing Policy and a Value Chain Risk Assessment to listen to and analyze the performance of our suppliers (99% European and 82% national), detect areas for improvement and accompany them on their path to sustainability in areas such as equality, reduction of water consumption and waste minimization.
