This Thursday 14th of April the ninth season of the 1906 Jazz Cycle, which is included in our 1906 concept “Our Most Personal Interpretation”, kicks off. Concerts will be spread out over spring and autumn with different performances throughout Spain.
Renowned artists such as Jorge Rossy Vibes Quintet, Ernie Watts, Leo Genovese, Sekou Kouyate and Mark Guiliana are the main figures of this new edition and will tour the stages of emblematic settings like Café Berlin in Madrid, the Jazz Filloa in A Corunna, the Bla Bla Cafe in Ferrol, the Dado Dada in Santiago, the Clavicembalo in Lugo, the Cafe Latino in Ourense, the Bilbaína Jazz Club in Bilbao, the Jimmy Glass in Valencia and the Jamboree in Barcelona.
The spring season starts tomorrow in Valencia with a concert by Mark Guliana, David Bowie’s drummer for his last record. The first concert in Galicia will take place on the 20th of May in A Corunna with a performance by Jorge Rossy Vibes Quintet, who has two other dates scheduled, the 21st of May in Santiago and the 22nd in Ourense.
The ninth 1906 Jazz Cycle is included in our brand’s 1906 music activity that is summarized in the 1906 concept “Our Most Personal Interpretation”.
