Jerry González tour at some of the most emblematic jazz clubs in Galicia

Experiences

The 1906 Jazz Season will visit the Xancarajazz (Vigo), Café Latino (Ourense),  and Dado Dadá (Santiago)  where this emblematic trumpet player will perform.Jerry González Trio

You are in luck. You’ve already seen him in Fernando Trueba’s documentary Calle 54, and you’ve heard his fusion jazz and flamenco with Paco de Lucía, Chano Domínguez, El Cigala, Jorge Pardo, Niño Josele, and perhaps you’ve also heard him play with Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Jaco Pastorius, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente and any jazz stars willing to turn the house upside down, or perhaps you have records by his legendary Fort Apache Band, with over thirty years of experience, and awards coming out of his ears.  We won’t overwhelm you with a long list of awards and nominations. You know him only too well, and are dying to see him once again on stage, as you know that’s his natural habitat, and he will pull you in, whether you want to or not. He is the best in latin jazz, but he returns with a rhythm section stronger than ever (including the great Javier Colina) to show you his personal interpretation of the standards, and also his most recent compositions.  Don’t drop your guard; he will put the devil into your body.
