The Festival Iberoamericano de Comunicacion Comercial EL SOL has awarded Estrella Galicia’s “Unas campanadas de escandalo” (Scandalously good Chimes) campaign the Bronze Sun in the Media section, within the “Best Use of Audiovisual Media and Radio” category.
This International Festival, in its 27th year, is the most important advertising event in Spanish-speaking countries, and on this occasion 2,532 entries and campaigns from 18 different countries took part.
This recognition is important for the brand, as the usual prize-winners are campaigns by large multinationals.
“Unas campanadas de escandalo” revolutionised the social networks for a number of weeks as it was the first time that the post-chime toast was made with beer. The Spanish media centred articles around this innovation, which was made public via the Ymedia agency and shown on Antena 3 and Sexta channels.
