Custom Drinks has been chosen to participate in the FLEXINET project (Intelligent Systems Configuration Services for Flexible Dynamic Global Production Networks). This programme is financed by the European Union within the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), which has the aim of discovering how to improve the work methods used by companies whose daily activity involves constant innovation.
Custom Drinks is the only company in the food and beverage industry taking part in the three year project, along with companies with a marked technological profile (Indesit, KSB, Highfleet among others) in which innovation and adaptability is part of their daily activity.
FLEXINET will analyse the activity of different companies with the aim of developing a technological application which can be used in different industrial sectors, allowing an improved organisaton of the innovating activity, and its transfer to the manufacturing activity of the company. To do so, six universities (four from the UK, one German and one Swiss) two Spanish technological centres and five companies from around the world (Italy, UK, Germany, USA and Spain) will take part.
