Once again we have chosen the Salón Internacional de Turismo Gastronómico (International Gastronomy Tourism Fair), Xantar, to showcase our products, which we will present to the public via a varied selection of activities, including tastings and talks.
Once again, from January 31 to February 4, Xantar will be the epicentre of gastronomy in Galicia, and Hijos de Rivera will be present at this fair that is an unmissable event in the public’s diary.
Wine tastings, talks on beer culture, and cider tastings are just some of the activities that we will offer on our stand during the five days of the Xantar, the International Gastronomy Tourism Fair in Ourense.
Our company will open up an area in Expourense for visitors to come and discover all our products for themselves through tastings and talks.
Maeloc ciders, made in Chantada, (tasting at 12:15, and cheese pairing at 7:30pm) and Ponte da Boga wines from the DO Ribeira Sacra (tastings at 1:30pm and 6:30pm) will be the protagonists at the stand on Thursday 1 February.
On Friday 2 February, the activities will focus on the wide range of beers in our portfolio paying special attention to 1906, the beer family with the most awards (tastings at 1:30pm and at 7:15pm) and the Fábrica de Cervezas project (tastings at 6:30pm). The best way to serve beer will be the subject of a workshop at 8:15pm.
The activity programme is complemented on Wednesday with tastings of reference import beers such as La Chouffe and O´Hara´s, and on Saturday with presentations and tastings of wines such as Agro de Bazán (1:00pm.), Sanclodio (8:00pm.) and unique wines (9:00pm.).
