The Bergantiños sales office, the company’s new distribution centre, is located in the Vimianzo industrial estate, and has 3,000 square metres dedicated to warehouse facilities and offices from where the areas of Carballo, Santa Comba and Fisterra will be served.
An official visit was made this morning to the new Hijos de Rivera Bergantiños office, inaugurating the new distribution centre in the Vimianzo industrial estate. Antonio Viejo, Corporate Director, welcomed the mayor of Vimianzo, Manuel Antelo, who was taken on a tour of the facilities that see the company’s will to improve the attention and service to the area materialise. They were accompanied by Antonio Buzón, Sales Director of Hijos de Rivera and Pablo Arangüena, Director of the Suelo Empresarial del Atlántico.
This Hijos de Rivera office in Bergantiños started its activity in January after 6 months of building work. It occupies 3,000 square metres on a plot of almost 4,800 metres and is destined for warehouse and office use, employing around 30 people. From this distribution centre in Vimianzo the areas of Carballo, Santa Comba and Fisterra will be served.
Antonio Viejo, Corporate Director of Hijos de Rivera, thanked the public entities involved for their hard work and speed, which allowed the opening of the company’s new distribution centre in Vimianzo. He stated he was “proud to be able to inaugurate the new facilities in the area of Bergantiños, once again bringing to life the commitment of our company with Galicia, on this occasion via a structure in the area that enables us to offer a better service and attention to our clients, as well as generate wealth and employment in the area.”
The mayor of Vimianzo, Manuel Antelo, thanked those responsible from our company for choosing the Vimianzo industrial estate, both for the positive image that is given to it, as well as for the employment and wealth it creates, consolidating the area as a reference in the industrial estates of the area. He also highlighted the willingness from the council to facilitate everything the company needed to set the project in motion.
Pablo Arangüena, Director of the Suelo Empresarial del Atlántico, said it was excellent news to hear that such a modern company like Hijos de Rivera had decided to set up in the Vimianzo industrial estate, and spoke about his willingness to facilitate the arrival of new companies to the area.
