Vega returns to Galicia. Santiago de Compostela has been the city chosen by Vega to meet her Galician public at a charity concert to raise money for disabled children in Palmarin (Senegal), on the 21st of November in Sala Capitol, and where she will present her new release, “Wolverines”.
The “Wolverines SON Estrella Galicia” tour kicked off with sellout dates and venues full to the rafters. Vega, will take her new studio album, presented on the 25th of October at BUT (Madrid), on tour to a great number of cities around Spain. At the presentation in Madrid, an enthralled audience sang along with the singer and enjoyed Vega´s presentation of all the tracks, one by one, from this latest album on which she has had collaborators such as Raphael, Arturo Sandoval and Budiño.
Another essential stop on this tour is Santiago de Compostela, the only city where the singer from Cordoba was forced to call off a concert. The tour had to be interrupted as she was nominated for a Grammy which meant that she had to fly off to Las Vegas. However, Vega promised to return and will do so by presenting her latest album for charity.
Budiño and Eladio y los Seres Queridos will accompany the singer at this concert which will give all the money raised from ticket sales, merchandising, CDs and so on, to the Escuela Jacobo Romero Rivera for disabled children in Palmarin (Senegal). This initiative is led by young volunteers from Santiago who work to ensure that disabled children with problems can have a better quality of life.
