Our Company’s volunteers are organising, for the third consecutive year, this social, sporting and charity event which will, for the very first time, start and finish at our Estrella Galicia brewery.
The third edition of this charity race, in aid of the Rías Altas Food Bank, will start on Sunday 19 November at 11am.
Anyone, of any age, can take part, either running or walking, and to do so, must register on Deporticket.com or on the day of the race from 9.30am.
Anyone who wishes to can still sign up for the 5KM Solidarios race, which will take place on Sunday 19 November, for the very first time in A Coruña. It is the third edition of this race, supported by volunteers from our Company, and organised by the Rías Altas Food Bank and the NGO A.I.R.E.
This social, sporting and charity event will donate all money raised to help the Rías Altas Food Bank in A Coruña, with its collection and delivery of food to those who need it.
Everyone is welcome to take part, with no age limit, and the race can be done running or walking, and even pets are welcome, as long as they are on their leads.
The organisers are taking care of all the details, so that it becomes a record-breaking charity event in the city of A Coruña.
The race, which will begin at 11am, will start and finish at our Estrella Galicia brewery, and will cover a 5 kilometre city route, along the main streets of the area of Agrela. It will start in José María Rivera Corral street, go round Vioño park, along Revolución Francesa street, onto Pasteur street, Isaac Peral street towards Avenida de Finisterre, down Gambrinus street, turn into Copérnico Street, down Gutemberg Street, to return once again along Isaac Peral street, Pasteur street, Revolución Francesa street, finishing on José María Rivera Corral street.
In addition to race bibs and T-shirts, once the 5KM race is over and thanks to collaborating companies, participants will also be given a bag with a number of snacks, such as cereal bars and spelt biscuits. There will also be fruit and Cabreiroá water to aid hydration, and Estrella Galicia 0,0 and Siboney coffee will also be served.
Zumba Master Class
To bring this event to a great close, there will be a free Zumba master class for everyone there, at 12 o’clock, ensuring a festive and familiar close to this charity event.
Registration and collection of race bibs
Registration is €5 per person, which is taken as a donation, and can be done before the day on Deporticket (http://www.deporticket.com/dpk-detalle-evento/evento/2959-iii-carrera-benefica-5km-solidarios) and on race day, from 9.30-10.30am, at the registration point.
Participants can pick up their race bibs and T-shirts on Sunday 19 at the Estrella Galicia facilities from 9.30am.
All those who cannot or do not wish to participate, but would like to collaborate, can do so by making a donation on Deporticket or via bank transfer to the account ES17 2100 2215 7602 0026 2868 with the payment reference ‘Dorsal 0’.
