The Teatro del Arte in Madrid joins SON Estrella Galicia, increasing the number of venues involved in the music programme sponsored by the Galician beer throughout Spain.
The Teatro del Arte is a unique theatre in the Lavapies neighbourhood, next to the Reina Sofia Museum and the Circo Price, and its reduced capacity gives it a particular charm as the audience can enjoy the more intimate concerts. This venue is a reconverted space as previously it had been a greenhouse belonging to Fernan Nuñez’s Palace, was then turned into a dance studio, then an acting school and now the Teatro del Arte.
In September, the new SON Estrella Galicia venue will see performances by Prin La Lá on the 19th, on the 26th Veo Monstruos, the trio made up of Fernando Alfaro (Surfin’ Bichos, Chucho), David Rodríguez (Beef, La Bien Querida) and Remate.
In October we will be able to see an intimate performance by Bigott on the 2nd, and Algora will present “Verbena” on the 5th. In November, the much-awaited Sam Amidon will perform on the 7th, Jigsaw will do so on the 14th and Nothing Places on the 27th. In addition, it will also be the setting for some of the American Autumn concerts in November (Spain on the 13th and Willard Grant Conspiracy on the 16th) and for the 981Heritage SON Estrella Galicia with Deptford Goth on the 3rd of October.
