The Hijos de Rivera Co-Cooking Programme is ready to go. The initiative offers collaborative training, bringing students and professionals together, and aims to bring the potential of Galician cuisine and the excellence of our local produce to the forefront.
The programme will start on the 18th of July during the PortAmerica festival in Vigo, where distinguished Michelin-starred chefs will share their knowledge with students from three Galician catering colleges, and delight the public with tapas made exclusively for the occasion.
During this first event students from Pontevedra, Vigo and Santiago will have the opportunity to boost their knowledge, sharing experiences with chefs from the NOVE group: Javier Olleros, Xosé Cannas, Pepe Solla, Yayo Daporta, Alberto González and Beatriz Sotelo.
It will be a unique opportunity which will contribute to the training of highly qualified professionals, strengthening the exchange of knowledge between important names in Galician cuisine and promising Galician chefs. For the students, it will be a unique opportunity to share the kitchen with six Michelin-starred chefs, and therefore taking their first steps learning from the best.
