This morning, Alfonso Blanco, one of the first members of the Asociación Xermolos, was in charge of presenting the festival to the media, and he did so in good company with Davide Salvado, one of the artists that will demonstrate his talent at this year’s edition, and Víctor Mantiñán, SON Estrella Galicia y 1906 Product Manager who, once again has aimed for a unique festival- 100% Galician but with an international outlook.
There are other cultural activities taking place around this music festival, which every year has on its stage local, Spanish and international artists (France, Scotland, Cuba, Portugal…), such as craft fairs, painting and sculpture exhibitions, photography, ceramics, children’s drawings, poetry, narrative, a book fair, or the special Muestra de Artesanos de Instrumentos de Música Tradicional (Traditional Musical Instruments Craftsmen fair).

On the afternoon of Saturday 5th, the XXVIII traditional musical instruments fair, another of the differentiating elements of a festival that has successfully known how to bring tradition to the forefront undeniably wrapped in modernity, will open its doors to the public.
A large number of craftsmen will come together at the festival to show their talent to all those present who will also be able to enjoy the XXXVIII Mostra de Artesanía (XXXVIII Craft Fair), a landmark event that has been part of the festival right from the start and that gathers increasing professional and general public interest.
