The Atlantic Fest gets the Illa de Arousa on its feet

Music, gastronomy and one of the most spectacular locations in Galicia is what the Atlantic Fest festival offers: a festival for all those who want to have an unforgettable weekend, leaving routine to one side.

This morning, at the Auditorium and Museo de la Conserva on the Illa de Arousa the presentation of the line-up for the 2nd edition of the Atlantic Fest, which will take place from 30 June to 2 July on the Illa de Arousa, was held.

At the presentation were Antonio Caneda, festival director; Carlos Iglesias, mayor of A Illa de Arousa; Carmela Silva, president of the Diputación de Pontevedra; Jacobo Sutil, director of Agadi; Rosa Carballo Martínez, manager of GALP Ría de Arousa; Guillermo Vergara, from Estudios Mans; representatives of Movistar, Kia, KitKat, Galicia Calidade, Paco & Lola, Ginabelle and Lodeiros; and our colleague Víctor Mantiñán, product manager of SON Estrella Galicia.

This year the festival will have a truly amazing line-up, with a huge range of fun and cultural activities, as well as a total of five stages throughout the island, that will round off a festival created for lovers of music that has no labels.

After having confirmed the attendance of Los Planetas, Lori Meyers, The Temper Trap, Maxïmo Park, Delorean, Anni B Sweet, Joe Crepúsculo, Rosalía & Raül Refree, Os Amigos dos Músicos, other groups that will disappoint no one will join the festival, such as Apartamentos Acapulco, Sen Senra, Puma Pumku, Electric Feels, Birds Are Indie, Dois, MounQup y Kings Of The Beach y L.A., who will present his latest work “King of Beasts” on the SON Estrella Galicia stage.

Sen Senra, Dois, Mounqup, Kings of the Beach and Esposa will represent the new Galician sounds, Puma Pumku and the Portuguese band Birds Are Indie will show all their strength in a live show, and Apartamentos Acapulco and the DJs from Vigo, Electric Feels will be in charge of bringing music to the festival’s Gastro Zone.
