For the first time the 5KM Solidarios race promoted by the volunteers of Corporación Hijos de Rivera will be held in a mixed, face-to-face and virtual model, a proposal tailored to each runner.
On December 12, the participants will cover 5 km in the surroundings of the A Grela Industrial Estate, leaving from the Estrella Galicia factory, while from December 5 to 12 the runners of the virtual format will be able to add km.

The Volunteers of Corporación Hijos de Rivera promote the VII edition of the “5KM SOLIDARIOS” race organized by the Rías Altas Food Bank. It is a charity event with the aim of raising funds to provide food to the disadvantaged groups to which the Rías Altas Food Bank provides its services, which will receive all the money raised by the event as well as all the donations “Dorsal 0”.
After the virtual edition of last year, this time the race returns to the streets with a mixed participation format, combining face-to-face with a virtual format, a proposal tailored to each runner.
In this way, those who prefer the face-to-face format, will get together on December 12 in the morning at the facilities of the Estrella Galicia factory to start a 5 km route at 11am through the Agrela Industrial Estate. Those who opt for the virtual modality, can participate between December 5 and 12, from anywhere, through the app.
The success of the race is due to various entities that collaborate in it. The Volunteers of Corporación Hijos de Rivera coordinate with the Rías Altas Food Bank, the organization, which also has the support of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Agrela, the Consorcio Provincial contra Incendios e Salvamento, Estrella Galicia 0,0, Cabreiroá, Gadis, GLS, Vegalsa, Frutas Prado, Grupo ABN, ASISA and Agrela Car Dealership.
Registrations already underway
Registrations in both modalities can be made through the official website of the race(www.5kmsolidarios.es)from today. The registration fee is € 5 per participant, which can be done through the Online Platform of Deporticket with payment by POS enabled on the website of the race or through Bizum. This collection will be allocated entirely to the Rías Altas Food Bank.
Another way to collaborate for those who cannot participate in the race is through the “Dorsal 0”, making a donation in favor of the Rías Altas Food Bank with the concept “Dorsal 0”, in the account number ES94 2080 0058 1430 4001 8734, or in the option provided on the online platform.
