Our Galician cider Maeloc, made in Chantada by Custom Drinks, will be one of the protagonists at the Xantar, Salón Internacional de Gastronomía e Turismo (International Gastromy and Tourism Fair), inaugurated on Wednesday at Expourense.
The fair’s Aula Gastronomica (Cooking Showroom) will finish the day on Friday with the Show Cooking & Maeloc event. The session, at 9pm, consists of a live cooking demonstration by Flavio Morganti, who has two Repsol Suns to his name, and who will be producing two dishes, one of them to pair with Maeloc cider and the other using Maeloc as a main ingredient. Around 40 people will be able to enjoy this remarkable pairing, which highlights the value of Galician cuisine and its existence alongside high quality products.
