Sergio never imagined that breeding earthworms to produce ecological compost would involve such a huge amount of red tape and official authorisation.
Ecocelta recycles organic waste through composting and vermicomposting to manufacture compost and organic soil amendments to use as fertilisers for agriculture and gardening, proving that an industrial slant is possible in the rural world compatible with the surroundings it finds itself in.
In the search for the differentiation of his product, Sergio explains how important brand image was in order to be able to sell the fertiliser. “We had produced no more that what we had on the stand, but as we had a cool image, we were asked for permission to represent the brand on the spot”.
