An Irish-inspired fusion beer, a mixture of four malts and four hops
that give rise to a red Galician ale with a Celtic soul. Copper color with ruby reflections. Creamy beige foam. Clean, malty aroma,
reminiscent of hazelnuts and toffee.
Moderately roasted flavour, with hints of biscuit, dried fruits (malts) and
slightly floral (hops). With a bitter aftertaste and easy to drink.
1906 GALICIAN IRISH RED ALE
RAW MATERIALS
During the mashing process, maximum care is taken to ensure the sensory contributions sought by using a blend of four types of malt. In the wort boiling stage, the three varieties of hops grown in Galicia (Nugget, Sladek and Admiral) are added. When the green beer has 4 days of aging left, dry hoping with Provoak hops is performed. After 24 days, La Pelirroja is ready for packaging.
