At the weekend, at the emblematic Molino del Manto, in Chinchón (Madrid), the fifth edition of the Jornadas 1906 de la Guitarra Española took place; an event that pays homage to this Spanish instrument and delves into flamenco.
Art, joy, feelings, passion and sensibility: no other instrument can generate and transmit so many emotions and mix them with such simplicity as the guitar. All those at the V Jornadas 1906 de la Guitarra Española en el Molino del Manto were able to experiment these sensations and feel them closer than ever thanks to the 1906 beer family company.
Strength and emotions in equal measure. The sessions, that once again revolve around the strings of a Spanish guitar that in the hands of Tomatito reach virtuoso standard, are complemented with the rhythms of other instruments such as the harmonica of Antonio Serrano, Javier Colina’sbass, Miguel Hiroshi’shang, and thecajónof Nasrine Rahmadi. Between them all, and alongside the guitarists María Marín and Afra Rubino, the result is a unique sound experience in an idyllic setting as is Molino del Manto in Chinchón (Madrid).

About Molino del Manto
At the venue, Molino del Manto, located in Chinchón (outside Madrid), a magic symbiosis between the old building and it 19thcentury Romantic garden. The first building of this flourmill dates back to 1752. The current owners of this spectacular venue have carried out an ambitious restoration project in an attempt to maintain the original spirit of the house and its garden, that are the setting for a variety of cultural, environmental and leisure projects that have been held here in recent years.
