The IWSC is a quality and innovation reference in our sector, with over 50 years experience awarding the best wines and spirits in the world. This year it has awarded two bronze medals to our wines, highlighting the work undertaken by our winery Ponte da Boga and the quality of our broths Expresion Historica and Mencia 2014.
The importance of these awards lies in the number of candidates submitted and the rigour employed during the tasting and judging process by nearly 400 judges selected by the institution. Classified by regions, over 7 months of the year they taste, analyze and judge the entries that are presented by countries, regions and varieties carrying out blind tastings and chemical analysis according.
A complex tasting and judging process that undoubtedly supports the importance of these awards, with participants of over a hundred countries. We should be proud of receiving this kind of recognitions, that encourage us to keep on working with dedication and putting into each of our wines the best of each one of us.
