The Sensorik goblet has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot International Design Prize 2013-2014 in the Product Design category. This goblet, chosen by our Cerveza de Bodega (Craft Beer) Trade Marketing department for the on-trade channel, was selected by the jury in the latest edition of these awards because of the quality of its glass as well as the successful combination of design and functionality.
The Sensorik goblet was created by SAHM, one of the leading companies in the field of specialised glass for beer products, in collaboration with the world champion sommelier, Markus del Monego creating this product especially for the sampling and evaluation of beers.
The glass of the Sensorik goblet enables an easier appreciation of the characteristics of each beer, and its tapering shape favours the evaluation of parameters such as smell and taste. The flared top helps to optimise the characteristics of the drink and ensures that the beer is evenly distributed across the tongue.
The Red Dot awards jury, made up of 40 renowned figures of product and industrial design from around the world, acknowledges the quality and innovation of the designers and manufacturers of new products for domestic and professional use. The prizes, created in 1955, are awarded at a ceremony in Germany and the products that receive them are exhibited in the Red Dot museum in Zollverein, Essen.
Our company has achieved the exclusive rights to the Sensorik goblet in the Iberian Peninsula for the next three years.
