The Corporacion Hijos de Rivera has decided to focus, as a part of its social commitment plan, on creating a platform of initiatives led by those who share and put forward ideas to encourage competitive development and the sustainability of rural areas in Galicia.
On the 3rd of September, in the Teatro Principal in Santiago, the Parladoiros del Mercado de la Cosecha (The Harvest Market Roundtables) will be held, a forum which will serve to share initiatives and experiences linked to Galician rural areas that have proved to offer added and differentiating value, and that can serve as an example to society as a whole.
From 5pm onwards, 8 speakers will share their experiences when faced with the challenge of opting for a rural lifestyle. Through their stories, they will show that a high standard of living, personal, and professional growth can be achieved in rural areas, in addition to learning to value resources that we have made ours, such as innovation, identity, tradition, natural resources and human potential among others.
Tickets (€15) will be on sale on the Novagalicia Banco website and all the money raised will be used to finance training projects in rural areas.
