Our CEO, Ignacio Rivera, will be inaugurating the 47th edition of the Feira do Cocido in Lalín. During one of the presentations of the event held yesterday in O Grove, the mayor of this Pontevedra town, José Crespo, highlighted the fact that Ignacio Rivera would be in charge of welcoming those present at one of the most important gastronomical events in Galicia, listed as Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional (an event of touristic importance in Spain).
“This year, we wanted to make reference to our world, to businessmen like him who are creating growth for their companies in times of crisis and who, undoubtedly, is one of the best businessmen in our land.” The Lalín mayor reminded all those present of the Gold Medal awarded to Ignacio Rivera by the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia (Galician Circle of Businessmen) in November last year in Vigo. “That is where I first met him and I told him that the publicity that Estrella Galicia is doing is fantastic as it sells Galicia as a whole.”
By giving the opening speech, on Sunday 8 February, Ignacio Rivera will inaugurate one of the longest-running annual gastronomical events in Galicia, which year upon year continues to be successful by filling Lalín with over 70,000 people.
