The Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia, Club Financiero de Vigo, (Galician Circle of Businessmen) has unanimously agreed to award the institution’s Medalla de Oro (Gold Medal) to Ignacio Rivera, CEO of Hijos de Rivera S.A.U. The association has decided to give this award for his “contribution to the economic development of Galicia”. The award giving will take place at a formal ceremony on 14 November in Vigo during the seventeenth anniversary of the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia (Galician Circle of Businessmen).
The Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia is made up of the 300 most important companies in the south of Galicia and whose turnover is over 9 billion euros. Representing diverse economic activities, the shareholding companies are characterised by occupying leading positions in their respective sectors and markets. In addition, the Círculo has almost 700 members: entrepreneurs, senior executives and professionals, who share a great commitment to social and economic progress in the south of Galicia.
