The first activity in the Volunteering Programme, a Clothes Collection Campaign, has been a resounding success thanks to all the collaboration received. 750kg of clothes were collected and have already been distributed to Caritas and La Cocina Economica. Both charities will deliver all the donations made by our staff to those in more disadvantaged groups. We have received messages of gratitude from these charities, with regards to the positive response to the appeal.
The Volunteering Programme calendar kicked off with this Clothes Collection Campaign, carried out in all the company’s work centres from the 20th to the 25th of May. During those five days, anyone who wished to collaborate could do so by placing clothes they no longer used in the specially marked containers.
