We will be offering a full programme of activities from the 8-11 November at this gastronomy event held at the Palacio de Congresos in Granada.
On Thursday 8, we will hold the second Mixología Maeloccontest. Last week, Alberto Gómez Puente, from El Olivo in A Coruña, was named winner of the first contest, held Santiago de Compostela. The aim of this contest is to raise awareness about the potential and versatility of Maeloc ciders when making cocktails for the different parts of the day.
In addition, on Friday 9 the Andalucía Beer MasterBeer Pulling Contest will be held, from which will emerge the best beer server in Andalusia. Twenty participants from different parts of Andalusia will demonstrate their passion for beer, their skill when serving beer, and compete to walk away with this edition’s title of ‘Mejor Tirador de Cerveza de Andalucía’(“Best Beer Puller in Andalusia”). The two winners will compete against the winners of the other regional contests at the Spain Grand Final of the VI Campeonato Nacional de Tiraje de Cerveza ( VI National Beer Pulling Championship).
The Hijos de Riverastand will host a range of activities such as tastings and workshops with our beers and mineral waters.
Granada Gourmet is a special date for gastronomy lovers, during which they will be able to enjoy over a hundred free activities that revolve around the world of food, but with a special protagonism given to the produce and restaurants of Granada, and the presence of six Michelin star chefs.
