The latest edition of ”Guia de vinos, destilados y bodegas de Galicia 2014” (Guide to Galician wines, spirits and wineries 2014) has awarded two of our liqueurs top prizes. Our Quenza herb liqueur and coffee liqueur have each won a Gold Medal in the second consecutive contest organised by this publication edited by the expert oenologist Luis A Paadin, and Servino wine consultants. It is an unpublicised micro patronage project, whose first edition won the Gourmand prize in the “Best Wine Tourism Book” category.
Luis A. Paadin, oenologist, with a Masters in viticulture and oenology from the University of Vigo, and president of the Asociación Gallega de Catadores (Galician Tasters Association) is the co-author of this magazine which recognises the quality of Galician wines and spirits. The “Guia de vinos, destilados y bodegas de Galicia 2014” includes all those wineries protected by the D.O. (designation of origin) and over 300 award-winning wines and spirits, and tasting notes.
