The Mercado de la Cosechapop-up store is the stage for a large number of activities offered by the businesses based in the countryside that take their place at the store in Riego de Agua (A Coruña). On this occasion, Granxa Maruxa proposes a sexology workshop which will take place on Friday at 7pm and will be hosted by Mónica Novas, a clinical and legal psychologist and sexologist.
The workshop will be a fusion of psychology, sexology and cuisine, taking fragments of gastronomic cinema as its central element, whetting the appetite of the participants before trying the bites which they will be offered.
Gastrosexology attempts to explain the mechanisms of arousal that underlie the pleasure of eating or cooking for a diner. It implies variables such as temperature, suggestion, texture, memories, aromas and diverse factors that affect and can produce pleasure within the world of gastronomy. Gastrosexology means allowing yourself to get carried away by those pleasurable sensations that we feel when tasting certain products or dishes, but utilising the psychologist and sexologist’s knowledge to learn how to really bring out those sensations in our daily life.
This workshop will allow the public to discover and have certain guidelines to later apply at home, not only from a sexual angle, but also with family and friends.
In addition, on Saturday 6, also at 7pm, the biscuit making workshop “Hacemos galletas” with Marta, Merce and Chus will be held.
To take part in the activities, you must sign up at the store or on 881 922 194.
