Motorcycling and Formula 1, the other sponsorships in Brazil.
In marketing, we have developed specific strategies in music, with Son Estrella Galicia project; motorcycling, supporting Alex Barros’ team in Brazil, and in Formula 1, sponsoring the Toro Rosso team and the drivers Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat. The association with the world of football, and with one of the main teams in Latin America, is the latest strategy to reinforce our presence in the country.
In motorcycling, we sponsor Alex Barros’s team via Estrella Galicia 0.0%, an association that began in 2014, which has been going two seasons, and the work has extended to the GPR 250 category. Outside Brazil, the relation with motorcycling is well established, going back to 2010. This agreement facilitates the exchange of riders between Brazil and Spain, and has already generated champions, such as Brian David, who is in Spain taking part in the European talents training project.
In the area of music, we have taken the Son Estrella Galicia project to Brazil. The project promotes a cultural exchange and adds value to Brazilian music, as well as supporting the work of independent musicians. In 2016, there will be 27 presentations made in premises in São Paulo and Río de Janeiro, as well as strategic collaborations with the group Tom Brasil in São Paulo. Musicians like Jards Macalé, Anelis Assumpção, the band Riviera Gaz and Steve Shelley, among others, will participate in musical projects during the first semester.
With regards to Formula 1 in 2015, via Estrella Galicia, we became the sponsors of drivers from the Italian team Toro Rosso. In 2016, in addition to sponsoring the drivers from the team, Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat, we also became Toro Rosso team sponsors.
