Malaga will be the next stop on the ‘Citroën Plateselector Food Tour’ on 11, 12 and 13 September. A pioneering initiative, which is touring the principal cities in Spain throughout 2015 and which will arrive in Malaga city on Friday. Estrella Galicia will be the official beer at the event, which offers gourmet food on the street and which has concerts, talks and/or tastings in its programme.
After the experiences in Zaragoza, San Sebastián and Salinas, among other cities, the ‘Citroën Plateselector Food Tour’ continues on its route. We join this initiative in Malaga as main sponsor of the event, to test out this event for the first time this year, at which some of the best chefs in Spain and Malaga will come together. This is the event’s fourth stop which gathered together over 30,000 people during its first stop in Zaragoza in June.
Programme:
The ‘Citroën Plateselector Food Tour’ kicks off at 6pm on Friday. On Saturday there will be 2 ‘Beer Master Sessions’ workshops which will take place in the morning and in the afternoon. There will be activities such as a beer pulling master class led by the Champion of the II Spanish Estrella Galicia Beer Pulling Contest , Javier Sánchez, from the Gorila bar in Jérez, and a paired tasting of 1906 Reserva Especial with the winning tapa of the gourmet contest Granada E-Tapas, work of the chef at the Alacena de las Monjas restaurant in Granada, David Perea. In addition to this, the event programme includes showcookings, talks and live concerts or DJ sessions, from Friday to Sunday.
