Tonight at 10.30pm, the new season the new season of “Allí Abajo”, the comedy series shown on Antena3 since 2015 based on Basque and Andalusian stereotypes kicks off.
Estrella Galicia will continue to be present via product placement in selected scenes of this series, with our mineral water brand, Cabreiroá, joining right from the start of this new season. From tonight, we will be able to see characters from this series interact with our products, both in scenes set in Andalusia as well those in the Basque Country, in places frequently visited by the characters: the hospital where Carmen works (in the south) and in Iñaki’s bar (in the north), which this season is run by the Spanish chef Juan Mari ArzaK. We will, therefore, link our products to a prestigious chef like ArzaK, one of most highly regarded and recognized in the world.
This series with María León and Jon Plazaola, finished last season with Carmen saying “yes” to Iñaki´s marriage proposal, and with great viewing figures that allow Antena 3 to incorporate, after a number of attempts, a comedy to its offering. “Allí Abajo” bid a temporary farewell to its viewers last season with an average share of 18.3% and over 3 million viewers. Estrella Galicia already has great experience with product placement, in other TV series and in previous episodes of “Allí Abajo”. “Bajo Sospecha”, “Vis a Vis” and “Mi casa es la tuya”, have been some of the Atresmedia and Mediaset programmes chosen by our beer in the last year.
Cabreiroá has also joined this product placement initiative, appearing for the first time in the script of a Spanish prime time series, in the last season of “Bajo Sospecha”.
