Our company Custom Drinks has been awarded certificates in Quality Management UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2008 and Food Safety Management Systems UNE-EN ISO 22000: 2005. These are two important marks of recognition that the company receives after a year-long adaptation process in which all the employees at the company, whose headquarters are in Chantada, have been involved.
The UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2008 is part of a series of norms based on a management system that offers organisations guidelines which are applicable to any type of company. Its implementation promotes a process-based approach, and ensures and improves the efficiency of a quality management system. Likewise, it can be used in the organisation to demonstrate the capacity it has to satisfy the client’s products and services requirements.
The UNE-EN ISO 22000 sets out the requisites that a management system must fulfil in order to ensure food safety throughout the food production process until it reaches the final point of sale or consumption. This norm is based on the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) continuous improvement process and serves to aid communication with the consumer.
