Chucho emerged as a result of the break up of Surfin’ Bichos in the mid 90s when Fernando Alfaro along with Juan Carlos Rodriguez Garcia and Javier Fernandez decided to create a new band. Their first album, called “78”, was released in ’97. Seven years and four albums later they decided to split up, having reached a privileged position within the Spanish indie scene during those years.
They re-appeared in April this year, after eight years in silence, stronger than ever and with a new song called “Huracanes con nombre”, and haven’t stopped since then. Six months later, Chucho’s comeback is still traversing Spain and hand in hand with SON Estrella Galicia they will be in Vigo on the 25th alongside Igloo, Valladolid on the 26th and in Madrid on the 31st.
