We have the great pleasure of having the unmistakable voice of Christina Rosenvinge on Friday 20th September, in the Medievo Club (Lugo) as part of the SON Estrella Galicia concert calendar.
The quintessential female voice of the Spanish Indie scene began her career as one half of the duo “Alex and Christina” and later went on to be the lead of the rock band “Los Subterraneos”, two projects which resulted in huge popularity in the 90s in both Spain and South America.
In 2000, she moved to New York, where she began her solo career and released three records in English. Once back in Spain, she took up writing in Spanish again and edited “Verano Fatal”, in collaboration with the singer-songwriter, Nacho Vegas (Asturias). A year later, Christina captivated fans and new followers with her superb “Tu Labio Superior” (Soster/Warner, 2009), whose songs she performed on some of the most important stages around Spain, ending up with a tour of South America (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Mexico). This journey was repeated with her next work “La joven Dolores” (Soster/Warner, 2011).
Last year, Christina took part in the SON Estrella Galicia in Madrid, Valladolid and Vigo where she presented her compilation album “Un caso sin resolver” (Soster/Warner) edited at the end of 2011 and which brings together the best tracks of her career and a number of new versions.
