The driver from Madrid, Carlos Sainz, has presented his Grada CS55 project, an initiative through which, thanks to our brand Estrella Galicia 0,0 and Renault España as sponsors, fans will be able to enjoy the Spanish Grand Prix.
This year, Carlos Sainz will also feature on a special edition of our non-alcoholic beer, Estrella Galicia 0,0, cans to celebrate this season’s triumphs.
Carlos Sainz: “I’m starting this season with more enthusiasm than ever”
Carlos Sainz has high hopes for the new F1 season and is reaching for the podium, as he explained this morning at the press conference that he always gives before the start of the championship, which will take place on 25 March in Australia.
At the meeting with the press, the driver spoke about a number of things such as his feelings during the winter tests, and his expectations for the coming year. He also took advantage of the event to present the Grada CS55 project, an initiative with the participation of our brand Estrella Galicia 0,0 and Renault España so that fans can enjoy the Spanish Grand Prix with a different perspective.
About the preseason, Carlos Sainz stated: “I have prepared for this pre-season very well. I have modified my training to better adapt to the car. The team has worked really hard all winter and at the tests we have been able to put many kilometres in. We are, therefore, very happy with the progress we have made, and the results we have seen during the tests. We still have a number of tweaks to make, but the feeling is very positive and we are all looking forward to Australia.”
Carlos Sainz has also stated that they have the chance to obtain a number of wins with Renault from 2020: “The aim for 2018 is to close the gap with the top teams. The middle area of the grid will once again be very tight, but I am convinced that Renault has the ability to go up. They have shown an incredible will to grow and to head this central area and, by doing so, get close to the leading teams.”
La Grada CS55
Sainz presented, for the third consecutive year, the Grada Fan project, which aims to allow Carlos’ and Formula 1 fans to enjoy the Spanish Grand Prix in person. The pack is made up of a three day pass (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) to enjoy the stand, which can hold 3,640 people and will have a DJ, merchandising to support the Renault team, a pack of Estrella Galicia 0,0 and a visit by Carlos on Saturday after the classifying round.
