To celebrate the end of the Formula 1 season, our brand Estrella Galicia 0,0 joined the driver Carlos Sainz to hold a very special meeting with the press held last Wednesday at the Carlos Sainz Karting circuit in Madrid.
At the event, with the participation of José Cabanas -CMO of Hijos de Rivera- representing the company, Carlos Sainz had the opportunity to meet the press to sum up the season, in a conversation that was concluded, of course, at the steering wheel.
To celebrate the arrival of Christmas in a fun way, the closing event of the day was a karting championship in which journalists competed against the driver: a very tight finish with the winner winning their weight in beer.
During the interviews, the Spanish McLaren driver assured that he wants 2020 to “be similar to this year, or even improve it a little- which I think is possible- but in line with this year” in which he finished sixth in the driver’s championship, and achieved his first podium in Formula 1, at theBrazil GP, which was “a dream.”
With regards to his link to McLaren and his expectations with the team in this new season, the driver said:“Everyone knows that I am happy at McLaren, as the project motivates me. If next year we take another step forward, it will motivate me further and we will take it as it comes, but it is still early days.”
