At just 16, she is a young promise of Spanish sport that has already won the title of Spanish champion in skateboarding and bronze medal in at ANOC World Beach Games in Qatar, with enormous sporting potential ahead.
This year’s goal for Julia Benedetti is to represent our country at the Tokyo Olympics in the skatepark category, an achievement for such a young talent with a tight schedule ahead of her that will take her to national and international championships in the coming months, ahead of the Olympic event.
To celebrate this alliance aimed at boosting the career of this young promise of the sport, Cabreiroá has designed a board tailored to Benedetti by the renowned Galician graffiti artist POWone. An expert in aerosol technique, he has a long history of murals throughout the country, an experience that he has used on a skateboard this time.
In the words of Julia Benedetti, “I am really happy to be an ambassador for a Galician brand like Cabreiroá. Right now, having its support represents trust, which helps me in my professional and personal development, which is very important”
Cabreiroá has a long history of supporting the sport, which has become especially visible in recent years through its sponsorship of the Spanish Football Team as well as the main events of the World Surfing Championship that take place in Spain and Portugal. Now, the Galician mineral water brand adds to its list the discipline of skateboarding through Julia Benedetti, who thus becomes ambassador of Cabreiroá, a title that already another great figure on the board, the surfer Gony Zubizarreta, holds.
