Our mineral water brand Cabreiroá is the new official sponsor of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and LaLiga Genuine Santander from today until the end of the 22/23 season.
Cabreiroá and LaLiga have closed a strategic agreement linking them until the end of next season. Our mineral water brand, therefore, becomes the official water and sponsor of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and LaLiga Genuine Santander. This union is effective from this month and will continue until the end of the 2022/23 campaign, providing the brand with a presence in the stadiums.
In the words of Óscar Mayo, CEO of LaLiga: “This alliance allows two leading brands such as Cabreiroá and LaLiga to share synergies. Thanks to it, we will both continue to reinforce two of our hallmarks, commitment to innovation and sustainable development”.
Santiago Miguélez, Hijos de Rivera Marketing Director Iberia, points out that “The progression and growth in recent years of LaLiga makes us convinced that this agreement will be another boost for the national growth of Cabreiroá and will reinforce its positioning linked to the hydration of athletes”.
A strategic link for the world of sport
With this agreement, LaLiga once again highlights the importance of partnering with leading brands worldwide, which allow to strengthen and expand the visibility that the organization and its clubs have inside and outside Spain.
With regards to Cabreiroá, this alliance reinforces its link with Spanish football, a relationship that was already developed with LaLiga in the 14/15 and 15/16 seasons, currently being the official water of LaLiga clubs such as RC Celta, Real Valladolid CF or SD Ponferradina, among others.
Cabreiroá reaffirms its natural affinity with sport due to its unique mineral composition that has made it a benchmark in the field of hydration during sports practice. In addition, the Galician mineral water brand has made a great effort to materialize its purpose of generating a positive impact on the environment in recent years, through a series of initiatives that always keep in mind respect for nature, such as the efficient use of resources, the circularity of its packaging and environmental activism.
