Our subsidiary Estrella Galicia do Brasil will be present once again at the APAS Show, the largest food and drink fair in Latin America, taking our belief in beer culture to the Brazilian market in the shape of the I Brazilian Beer Pulling championship.
From May 2 to 5, the 33rd edition of the APAS (Asociación Paulista de Supermercados) will be held at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. This fair has become the most important food and drink fair in Latin America since it began in 1984, and one of the largest business platforms for those who attend.
We will be present, for the third consecutive year, at this event that brings together representatives of the most important supermarket chains in Latin America, presenting our products with the intention of strengthening and increasing distribution in this market, both on-trade and off-trade.
Within the frame of this event, we will be holding the Brazilian Beer Pulling championship in the search for the best beer puller in Brazil, who will be able to participate in the next Campeonato de Tiraje de Cerveza Estrella Galicia (Estrella Galicia Beer Pulling Championship) to be held in Spain in 2018.
In line with this objective, Tom Silva and Fernando Iglesias, who are responsible for Beer Culture in Brazil and Spain , respectively, will be at our stand at the APAS, to lead a variety of activities related to Beer Culture three times a day and open to all those interested. Among these activities will be tasting sessions to learn about our Estrella Galicia beers and the whole 1906 family in depth.
