Annie B Sweet’s soft, melancholic style, with acoustic, folk and indie pop influences will fill the air of Le Club (A Coruña) on the 1st of June, within SON Estrella Galicia.
Behind the name Annie B Sweet hides a singer-songwriter with folk influences called Ana Lopez who, from an early age, demonstrated her interest in composing. In her home town, Malaga, she was in a number of bands, but it was in Madrid where she decided to learn the guitar and turn her poems and stories into songs.
She was recently awarded the Premio Dia de Andalucia and released “Land” in February, included on the “Ridiculous Games” EP which was released in both physical and digital format on the 19th of March this year.
Her second album is a great step in Annie’s career, as she maintains her irresistible melodic charm while stepping into an intricate world of a variety of styles, rich in details and atmosphere, and captivates with surprising, acoustic tracks and envelops the listener with other denser tracks, with electronic elements, powerful guitars and much, much more.
