The seventh edition of the 1906 Jazz Season will finish on 19 June and it will be celebrated with everyone by paying homage to the Día de la Música (Music Day) with an open air Jazz marathon open to the public in the emblematic Plaza de la Quintana in Santiago de Compostela.
Our beer 1906 has put forward the idea to eight well-known jazz formations of leaving the traditional jazz clubs to take part in the 19/06 event – 12 hours of non-stop music in the street. The proximity and interaction with the public are the key elements which have made such a success in the last few years of this event in which citizens and tourists have been surprised by great talents on the street.
On this occasion, the music will begin at midday in the Plaza de la Quintana and will continue until midnight. The protagonists will be eight formations of the size of Ton Risco Trío, Machín Not Workin’ Properly, Rafa Hernández Trío, Alberto Vilas Quintet, Ángeles Dorrío, 2M14, Alejandro Vargas Trío and the Pablo Castaño Quartet.
