Founded in 1994 by Amalio Aragón with his children, the origins date back to 1970 when the father began to acquire small neighbouring plots. It was called Cillar de Silos in homage to the monk who was historically in charge of the intendancy in the Monastery of Silos.
Cillar de Silos has an underground cellar dating from the late seventeenth century where they make Cillar de Silos Crianza, Tempranillo, Rosado de Silos Torre de Silo, Flor de Silos or Cillar Blanco.
