Maeloc ciders are made with 100% organic Galician apples, following traditional practices, with no added sugars and from fresh apple must and not concentrate. We only produce our ciders with apples collected by over 1,000 small authoctonous farmers.

We strive to maintain a close relation with the area around Custom Drinks, boosting the value of the area of Chantada as a traditional producer of quality cider apples. We have also aimed to support traditional agriculture, guaranteeing the use of techniques that exclude the use of chemical products.

Hijos de Rivera started its cider journey in 2001 with the acquisition of a share of the old Sidrería Gallega, nowadays Custom Drinks, and it increased its participation in the company, reaching 100% in 2004.
